this is Spring, so, so much for "new years" resolutions!! LOL). Turns out, making
a resolution album, was really fun and quick. This is a gatefold album with a big
flap in the back. Every element except for a few of the embellishments and the
patterned paper came from one kit - the Down Home kit from Prima!
The are two pages on each side of gatefold and then a large flap in the back. The
corrugated cardboard gives the album a whole different edge, and easily fits in
the punching channel of the BIA V2.0. The chipboard letters were covered in
Stickles, as were the cardboard pieces (which were also painted with acrylic
paint.) The fibers and fabric in the Down Home kit are plentiful and add a
texture-y, dimensional element to the book. I used a strip of denim to make a
band to hold in tags on the back page.
Supplies:
Zutter 3/4" Silver Owire
Prima Marketing: Down Home Kit (includes cardboard, die cuts, flowers, fibers,
burlap, denim and ribbon), patterned papers, chipboard letters
Other: Acrylic paint, Stickles

Anyone who has seen this patterned paper from Bam Pop has to just laugh! It
perfect backdrop for a pocket sizes tidbit album for my 8th grader. I just
remember junior high as being such an awkward time for me, and the papers
just summed it up. This mini album has little fold out flaps and mini pockets for
my daughter to tuck little memory notes and photos....it's just plain fun!
Supplies:
Zutter 3/4" Black Owire
Patterned Paper from Bam Pop!, Cardstock: Bazzill; a whole mish mash of
embellishments from Prima, Creative Imaginations, MAMBI, Making Memories,
Heidi Swap, Glossy Accents. Orange lace from Prima.
