Our Vacation 09
Guess what we will be doing alot this summer?  We love visiting Disneyland, and
we are so spoiled to live close by.  This is a quickie mini album made using only
cardstock for the covers and pages, lined with patterned paper.  The big die cut
on the cover was made on the Accucut, and the cardboard underneath trimmed
and inked to add dimension.

The red Zutter Owires finishes it off perfectly (I tend to not use so much red
owire, except for holiday projects).....now I don't have a supply list for you
because everything here was made with odds 'n ends from my random stash. I
just moved this month and came upon all kinds of bits and pieces long lost and
long forgotten.   Just goes to show you that you can put together great projects
with just about anything you have on hand!
My name is Nan Paturzo, and I live in Orange County, California with my very supportive
husband, Peter, and my two daughters Marli and Franny.  I am a native Californian, and have lived
in Southern California my entire life!

I have been a scrapbooker for over 13 years, and have loved every minute of it.  My original intent
was to document all the moments of my daughters’ childhoods  -- since I was the last of three girls
in my family, there were very few photos of me as a baby and growing up!  I didn’t want that to
happen to them, and loved the idea of capturing all the precious moments.  So I dug in with all my
heart and never looked back.  It is a bonus that it allows me to spread the creative wings I never
knew I had, make incredible friends and find amazing “me” time in the process!

I teach scrap classes at local scrapbook stores and weekend scrap retreats.  I believe that taking a
class and teaching a class should be fun – and we all should learn something new each time!  I am
one of the founding Zutter Zisters - the design and demo team for the Bind-it-All and I assist in
their marketing activities.  Recently, I am honored to be an endorsed teacher for Prima Marketing
- a  Prima Donna! I am also proud to be Fiskateer #734, as well as a member of the design team for
The Red Bee, a great LSS in Tustin, California.  In addition to all this fun, I also have a 24-year
long career in advertising/marketing and currently work full time at a local advertising agency.

You are invited to visit my blog and say hello!

Disney Vacation Clipboard Wall Hanging
One of the many great things about using Zutter's Clipboard wood is that is so sturdy
for home decor.  Wall hangings are a great application for this material.  The wood is
soft enough to punch easily with the Bind-it-All.  I bound three panels together to
make a cute wall hanging for my daughter's room.

Supplies:
3 - 6X6 Clipboard Wood Covers, Antique Silver Owire 1/2" - Zutter Innovative

The book is themed "Life is Beautiful" and is accented with
inspiring quotes throughout.  One fun technique in the
book, is the use of transparencies as pages.  Instead of
punching through the transparency, I added a strip of
patterned paper to both sides of one edge of a transparency
piece.  This reinforced the transparency and added texture
and color to it.  A piece of transparency was also added to
the front cover with rivets.  To get the sugary look on the
flowers and chipboard, generously add a clear drying
liquid glue and then add chunky sparkly glitter.  Let dry
completely.  It adds a nice frosty look!

Supplies:
6X6 Chipboard Covers, Black  Owire 3/4", Antique Brass
