General Instructions:
Trees – The tree bases are all right triangles/diagonally cut chipboard pieces. I recommend seven to eight pieces per tree.
Though I chose these specific sizes, you can make trees using any size chipboard. I was able to get six pieces from one 12” x 12”
chipboard cover and two from each 5” x 7” chipboard cover. Each of the pieces is painted along the edges and covered in
patterned paper before binding.
Books – I mixed a lot of products together to make these two books. The 4” x 4” book has acrylic covers on the outside and uses
three sets of chipboard covers for pages. Each of the chipboard pages is inked in white, covered with patterned paper and
embellishments. The 5” x 7.5” book has clipboard wood covers, two sets of acrylic tabs, and 6 inside pages. I kept the pages very
simple by covering with patterned paper and adding embellishments only to the acrylic tabs. Holes were punched in each tab
and ribbon tied to each. Rivets were added for extra interest to the cover before binding. Ribbon was added at the very end.

I love the shape of this album! The Teresa Collins bracket
covers are fun and add a dimension that I would not have
achieved with straight edges. I couldn’t find the right size
medium weight chipboard pieces to make the pages inside
this album, so I cut some down to fit, about 8 ½” square.
All of the chipboard pieces, including the cover are alcohol
inked and patterned paper-covered. I stamped on each of
book. I double-matted the photos with a dark green and
metallic paper to match some of the shimmery details,
then added rub-ons, clear saying stickers and ribbons on
the pages. Last touch to the book was generous use of
matching color organdy and satin ribbons to the binding.

The clipboard wood is inked along the edges for a darker look to
match the chocolate colored paper (yum!), then layered with
patterned papers and stickers. I added rivets on the top and
bottom for additional details. Inside the book, there are five wave-
edged acrylic sheets covered with wave-cut or border-punched,
inked patterned paper. There are also 4 cardstock pockets with
inked patterned paper. There are also 4 cardstock pockets with
patterned paper covered acrylic tags. Once you have all of your
patterned paper covered acrylic tags. Once you have all of your
pages and pockets assembled and covered in patterned paper, bind
the book and add the closure before adding photos. Most of the
photos in this book are matted to add extra color. I embellished
with plenty of stickers and brads.
