Thinking of You, Mom
I love acrylic! This album has acrylic covers, pages and a small acrylic swirl
embellishment on the cover. Both the acrylic swirl and back cover are alcohol-inked.
Since I used a lot of bright and patterned papers in the book, I chose to print my pictures in
black and white.
Supplies:
Zutter Innovative – 8” acrylic covers, 1” white owire
K & Company – patterned paper collection, embossed stickers, grand adhesions, fabric
covered brads
Little Yellow Bicycle – alphabet stickers
Stampin’ Up! – cardstock

Unforgettable
I was inspired to make this project by a punched, layered flower made by Fiskateer
Nanabeth. The funkiness of the paper collection and embellishments added to the flower
focus. To make the flower, use any heart punch you have in your stash. I used two different
curl the hearts upwards to resemble petals. Be generous with adhesive and layer the hearts.
Add an embellishment in the center of the finished flower to finish it off. Attach it to your
project after you’ve embellished and bound the book.

What a Hoot
I loved this cutesy-outdoorsy recycled paper collection when I first saw it and it is perfect on the Zutter
Clipboard Wood Covers. This project utilized 2 sizes – one panel of 8” x 10” and two 5” x 7.5”. The larger
board serves and the base of the project while the smaller pieces serve as a “double door” to the inside of the
book. The Clipboard Wood Covers are very sturdy but easy to punch, bind and add the Perfect Closure to. I
inked the Perfect Closure to match the theme of the book with a dark brown ink.
