Pirate Party Mini Book
I made this book in the shape if a pirate ship, which I’ve hand-
drawn, with pictures from a pirate party my kids attended
earlier this fall. Both the sail and the ship itself open up, and all
the pages are made from chipboard.

Fabulous Fall Mini Book in a Box
I always try to think outside the box when I
plan for scrappy projects, but this time I
decided to do the other way around and
think inside the box instead. I made the mini
book round to fit into the hatbox, and filled it
with photos from the area where I live,
taken during a walk with the kids when the
fall colors were really sparkling and the
light was just fabulous.

This mini is about all the different sides of a little girl’s personality. The Swedish word for side, “sida” is also the word for page, so
the different shapes and edges of the pages in this book represent the different sides of my daughter. I’ve used double, and
sometimes even triple, layers of cardstock for the pages to create a little stability to the book.
