My boy is turning six this month, and I wanted to write down what he is
like right now and what is important in his life at this stage. I wanted to
make it into a somewhat different mini album, to be able to display it on a
shelf in his room. I cut the pages into hemicircles and bound them together
with a ½” wire. Every page is decorated with buttons and other bulky
embellishments to make them stand out as much as possible and give the
album a hemispherical look. Then I put a wooden stick through the wire
and put a Tim Holtz Hitch fastener at the top and one at the bottom. I put
the title of the album on the stick instead of on the book itself, to make it
stand out a little more. This project was a whole lot of fun making, and it
looks great on the shelf.

My Creative Mess Cover-All
I’ve made this idea book where I will try to keep track of all of
my more or less crazy ideas, which I earlier had scribbled
down a little bit here and a little bit there, and that I was
never able to find when it was time to make something out of
them. I’ve used the Zutter acrylic tab folder to divide it into
three parts – one for my Bind-It-All stuff, one for calls and
contests I’d like to participate in, and one for miscellaneous
projects.
