It’s soon time to start planning how the
garden is going to look this summer. Myself,
I plan to grow some vegetables, as usual, and
I made this little book to keep track of what I
plant and where. The book is divided into six
parts, with room for lots of notes about the
garden and room for drawings and sketches.
Here’s the part where I intend to keep notes
about the kitchen-garden, and I’ve already
made a sketch of it, showing where I’m going
to grow my vegetables. I plan to add some
photos later on too.

Garden Hanger
I needed a little hanger where I could place all the things I need for planting,
such as my tools and bags of seed. I used the Owire to make hooks, which I
attached to the clipboard with rivets. I used a craft knife to carve a little
sinkage in the clipboard, where I fastened the hooks. It turned out
surprisingly stable and strong.

Supplies:
1” antique copper wire
Antique copper rivets
8X10” clipboard wood cover, cut down to size 4X10”
Ranger Paint Dabber Snowcap
Melissa Frances paper and vintage embellishment
Butterfly cut out from Graphic 45 Bella Botanica paper

Mini Greenhouse
I felt the need to experiment a little this
month, so I made a miniature greenhouse
out of some clear acrylic covers which I put
together using Glossy Accents and rivets. I
bound the roof together with my Bind-It-
All, making a hatch that can be opened to
water the plants and adjust the
temperature in the greenhouse. I’m
supposed to use it for my seedings later this
spring, but so far we've tried to grow
garden cress in there, and boy, did it grow!
This project was a little tricky, but I had so
much fun making it, and I was thrilled to
see that it actually works the way it’s
supposed to.

Supplies:
½” antique copper wire
Antique copper rivets
6X6” Clear acrylic covers
8X8” Clear acrylic covers
