presents.....
Some of my fellow DTers, and others, have made these really cute message
boards with the Bind-It-All, and I’ve been inspired to make one of my own,
because I really need one at my desk at work, to keep all the important
notes and papers in a place where I can see them so that I don’t forget to do
anything I have to do. In the upper left corner there’s a flap that hides a
sticky-note pad, and then there’s a hinge clip to hold bigger papers. I made
a matching little notepad and a new cover for my teacher’s calendar. Now,
I hope it will be as much fun using these when school starts.

Our Family Spinner Album
I love the Spinner Album kit! It is so much fun to work with, and the result
was way beyond what I imagined when I got started with the project. It
took quite some time, but it was so worth the effort. I started with painting
all the wooden parts black, using Maya Road’s charcoal mist, and then I
decorated the top knob with rhinestones, crystal swirls and some stickles. I
covered the whole thing in Glossy Accents, which was a really messy and
time-consuming business, and put a little metal crown on top. I used
charcoal mist on the tabbed chipboard dividers in the kit too. It took a lot of
photos and a lot of decorating, but I really like the way it turned out.
