Christmas Album
how our family spends Christmas every year. I used an 8x8
Kraft Cover-All to create the album. To make the snowman, I
painted two circles directly onto the Cover-All with white
paint. I put it on really thick to make sure it stayed wet for a
while. I also painted the spine and edges of the book white.
While the paint was still wet, I sprinkled ultra fine white
glitter all over the book and let it dry. After the paint was dry,
I made a hat from scrap paper and added pom-pom trim. I
made the scarf from tinsel garland, leaving the two ends of the
scarf hanging free. I created the nose by twisting a chenille
stem into a spiral around a pen. Then I used pliers to twist one
end of the spiral really tight to make a pointy “carrot” and
glued it on with Zip Dry. I roughly cut some scrap paper to
cover the rest of the cover, leaving some of the kraft paper
Cover-All showing, and added a title with chipboard letters.

Biz Card Keeper
I have stacks of business cards all over my desk that I’ve collected
from friends, colleagues, and businesses. Boxes, baskets, and bins
have all left with me wanting a better way to organize my ever-
growing pile of business cards. I bound all of my business cards
into a mini book inside of a Cover-All—now I can throw it in my
purse when I need it and just flip to the appropriate phone
number!

To create the mini book, I painted a Cover-All grey on the outside
and pink on the inside. I glued a satin ribbon around the outside
of the Cover-All and then covered the entire cover with
rhinestones. Then I stamped a damask pattern on the inside of
the covers with Staz-On Ink.  This idea would also work for
creating a mini notebook or phone book.
Our Very Own Winter Wonderland
White Cover-Alls are a blank canvas for creating! I used
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Screens to
create a custom cover on a 7.5 x 5.5 White Cover-All. I
sprinkled salt on the book and then sprayed the mist to create
a frosty effect  - a technique I learned from Cheryl McAdam.
applications of each color of Glimmer Mist – the Cover-All
stood up to being misted and heated dry over 10 times in a
row!

After Glimmer Misting the cover, inside and out, I added a
journal box and sticker letters for the title. Then I used
Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist over the entire book to make it
“glow”.  I added Mica Snow to the chipboard letters and
several ribbons to the spine of the book. I strung three metal
snowflake charms to fishing line to create “falling
snowflakes. I tied these to the ribbons on the spine of the book.

Inside the book I added white pages divided by Zutter 5x7
Acrylic Tab Folders. It snowed for three days the week before
Christmas so I wanted to create a section in the book for each
day. I used rub-ons and stamps with white Staz-On ink  to
stamp snowflakes on the 5x7 Acrylic Tab Folders to make
them perfectly frosty!

FiskaFriendzy Book
Cover-Alls are a perfect way to create a mini-book about a trip or event. I attended an event with an “Under the Sea” theme.
I started decorating a 6x6 Cover-All with paint, sea themed stickers, diecuts, and papers. I also wrapped the Cover-All spine
with ribbons and added a charm. After I was done decorating, I didn’t have any room for a title. The inside cover of the Cover-
All was a great place to put my title and event info instead of on the outside cover. It is almost like having TWO covers in one!
I also created a Table of Contents right next to the title.

During the event I gathered various flyers, brochures, and mementos that I wanted to include in the book so I’d have all the
pieces of my trip in one place. I used the Bind-It-All to punch binding holes in Artist’s Trading Cards, Tickets, Business Cards,
Seating Place Cards, and Maps from my trip and then bound those into the book between the 6x6 pages. For example, I
included a map and brochure from the Queen Mary between pages with a photo of me in front of the ship and journaling
about the ship. Now I have all of my FiskaFriendzy memories in one spot!
