My scrapbooking adventure began when I was pregnant with my first child and received a mail-
order scrapbooking kit. Since then my papercrafting has evolved to include altered art and cards
as well as scrapbooks. I have been scrapbooking for 10 years now, teaching scrapbook classes in
Southern California for the last 5 years. Papercrafting is my creative outlet; I feel at peace when I
am creating and it is a way to share the things I love with others. It is like Kindergarten for grown-
ups!
My life is also filled with much more than scrapbooking. I am a mom to a 9 year old and an 18
month old who keep me busy with their extracurricular activities. I am also married to a great man
who supports my hobby, even dabbling in it himself from time to time. We met in the Army, from
which we are now both veterans. For the last 3 years I have been a Girl Scout troop leader and
cabinet member volunteer, sharing my love of community with the girls in my troop, including my
daughter. We incorporate crafting into our activities whenever possible, including scrapbooking
of course! I also volunteer for Scrapbook Royalty, a non-profit corporation that organizes crops
for charity across the United States. Scrapbook Royalty allows me to mesh my love of helping
with others with my love for scrapbooking. For more information about Scrapbook Royalty,

Wall Hanging
I’m always creating home décor projects using my Bind It All—it is a great
way to use extra photos and create a gift. I created this wall hanging for my
husband to keep in his office at work. Things are pretty tough in the
workplace for most everyone now and this hanging will give him a place to
look at his family and think of good times.
Each panel is a 5x7 piece of chipboard covered with paper. To line up the
binding holes, hold adjacent pages facing one another. Insert the pages into
the Bind It All so that the edge of the page lines up with the centering arrow
between the 3rd and 4th holes printed on the top of the machine. Punch
three holes in each side, Repeat this process for all the panels, then bind
together with O-Wires. I punched a single hole in the top of each side of the
top panel to tie a ribbon hanger on. To secure the bows on the ribbon hanger,
add a little bit of Glossy Accents to the knot on each ribbon. Decorate and
enjoy!
This project cost me less than $10 to make. I bought the paper at a
scrapbooking garage sale for $3 for an entire pack, the O-wires were $5 for
the pack (and I only used half), and the flowers, ribbon, and buttons were
from my stash. Fight the economy, save a little cash, and craft handmade
gifts from the heart using your Bind It All!

Delightful Daydream Mini Book
I adore Cover-Alls! Not only do they make books have a more polished look, they are so sturdy that
they can support art!
A friend recently gifted me a bunch of blank mini canvases. I wanted to create a family book that
looked like a work of art on the outside. I first Glimmer Misted the Cover-All. Then I distressed the
edges and folds with acrylic paint. I distressed the canvas with paint, glimmer mist, and silver
embossing powder. Then I used a hot glue gun to attach the canvas to the front of the Cover-All. I then
added Prima Say It In Pearls, felt, tulle, and loads of embellishments. The Cover-All was wet multiple
times, saturated with Glimmer Mist, painted several times, had heat applied to it from heat guns and
glue guns, and it still held it’s shape, never warping, every step of the way. My cover came out
perfect!!
On the inside of the book, I decorated the insides of the Cover-All – those covers add two more pages to
the book! I also stitched the binding instead of using O-Wires. I added lace and twine to create a funky,
shabby chic feel to the binding.
I cut up an old sheet protector, sewed butterflies between the layers and then bound that into the book
as a page. There really are so many things that can be done with the Bind It All!

Candy Holder
Halloween is coming up quick! These candy holders are easy to make and perfect favors for the
little ghouls and goblins coming to your next monster bash.
Cut a piece of paper to 6x6. Glue two sides together to form a cylinder or tube. Flatten one end of
the cylinder and fold closed – add a little glue to keep it closed. Flatten the other end of the
cylinder perpendicular to the first one. That means if the first side was folded east to west, this
side should be folded north to south. Insert this side into the Bind It All and punch binding holes.
Fill with candy. Lace a piece of ribbon through the holes and tie shut. I decorated this holder with
a band of cardstock and a rosette sewn from crepe paper. Easy-peasy!
Supplies:
Paper – Bazzill, Pinecone Press
Crepe Paper – 99 Cent Only Stores
Ribbon – Fabric Barn
