Bushka Doll Book
These papers were crying out to be turned into a shaped mini book, so I cut
them out and then traced the shapes onto chipboard and cut those out (after
doing all this I found out that Kaisercraft actually make a Bushka shaped
mini book but I couldn’t get hold of it here anyways, so my hard work was not
wasted). I have a collection of these beautiful little dolls at home in my
dresser, so as soon as I get back I am going to photograph them and put them
in here with the journaling about how when my husband was working in
Kazakhstan he would occasionally pick one up and fetch it home for me.

play with anything crafty. She is going on vacation in a couple of
weeks and I thought she would enjoy filling it with pictures of her
holiday. I have made her loads of pockets and journaling tags on the
pages so that she can add more if needed. I searched out old baby
board books in charity/thrift shops and then take them apart and
close very well if you keep them with their spine so with my trusty
give them a new lease of life. I learned the hard way that they don’t

I made this book to record the homes we have lived in the ten years we
have been married... sometimes I get confused with which master
bedroom went in which house/country, so now I have a record of them
all.
