I am a wife, mother and scrapbooker.  I have been scrapping for five years and got interested
whilst I was on assignment with my husband in South Africa.  Being the wife of an expat I am lucky
enough to be able to fill my time with things I love to do and not have to go out to work – totally
spoiled in fact!  I started making mini books and albums about 2 ½ years ago and found my niche,
I love them for many different reasons, they make lovely gifts, they are less demanding of perfect
photographs and use more on an individual subject, holidays, trips, events, people and they appeal
to the completist in me, a finished project I can sit and look at, whilst my 12 x 12 albums take a lot
longer to finish and cover a greater time span.

The BIA has opened up mini book making from the small untidy book ring versions and the tied
with ribbon versions to properly constructed albums that look professional and hand-made as
opposed to home-made.  I love to push the boundaries, search for new ways and new designs to
facilitate the use of the BIA and create albums people want to replicate.  I am active

Black and White Love Book
Made this little book for my son’s half sister who is getting
married in a couple of weeks.  I thought it would be perfect
for all those pre-wedding photos and guest pics that I
actually love to see even more than the professional
wedding photos.

Materials:
1” Zutter’s owire
Papers: Teresa Collins, Luxe Designs
Cardstock for pages and matting
Ribbons Kit by Angelcrafts
Chipboard hearts and frames
Mojo Book
I am sure I am not alone in having those times when my “Mojo” goes walkabout and leaves me with no idea what to play at
next, so I made this book to put all those ideas that I think up at odd hours in the night or am inspired by when surfing the
net.  Now when I have no definite plan in mind I can refer to this book and find all the things that I want to try out.

Materials:
1”  Zutter owire
Papers: Bo Bunny
Cardstock for pages and matting
Chipboard for covers
Other: Ribbon, Brads, Beads and chain for spine

Book in a Box
After making the cardstock version of this I thought I would
have a go and make a chipboard one, which I actually prefer
as it is so much more substantial.

Materials:
Zutter ¾” owire
Paper: Kaisercrafts
Cardstock for pages and matting
Chipboard for making box and covers
Other: Brads, Ribbons, Magnet for closure
