About:
My daughter and I will be attending the Twilight Convention in April. These projects are intended to
capture autographs and hold photos that I take during the three days of Twilight frolic!

Designer Notes:
Use unconventional embellishments. For the project, I used a lot of buttons to decorate the inside and
outside of the book. If possible, remove the pins from the back and use strong, thick glue dots to keep them
in place. For thicker projects, Perfect Closures are a good solution to keeping the bulky project together
and closed when you need it to be.

Other Materials :
Basic Grey – patterned paper, Teresa Collins – patterned paper, Kaiser Craft – patterned paper, Creative
Imaginations – patterned paper, Bazzill – cardstock, Plaid – acrylic paint, Prima – flower, bling, Doodlebug
– gems, Paper-Source – satin ribbon, chipboard, comic book backing boards, buttons (pin-backs removed),
key chain charms (rings and chains removed), spray paint

About:
Part of the festivities at the Twilight Convention is a Centerpiece Contest. I decided to put my unused spinner
album to use and filled it with pictures from Twilight, New Moon and the Eclipse trailer along with lots of fan
art. Like the Twilight Convention Memory Book & Autograph Mini projects, I used materials that are not
very conventional in scrapbooking – buttons (with the pins removed), deconstructed key chains and comic
book backing boards for pages that are thicker than cardstock but not as thick as chipboard.

Designer Notes:
A tip when loading your spinner album, in order to make a very full project, you have to “overload” the o-
wire. When binding, remove some of the pages to make the project manageable so that you can almost
completely close the o-wire using the BIA. When you get the wire very close to being closed, add the
remaining pages and use your fingers to bend the wire completely shut. I recommend you use ribbon or wire
to reinforce the o-wire to keep it closed. In this project, I used ribbon to marry the o-wire ends together. Add
the bulkier embellishments once you’ve bound the pages
