Designer Notes:
To create this SUPER COOL cover….I slopped Claudine Hellmuth Studio Gesso onto a Clipboard Cover and then I stamped two
Hero Arts stamps, into it each corner, washing the stamps off immediately with water and a brush. When the Gesso had dried,
using my Ink Blending Tool and Distress Ink, I rubbed Ink over the stamped areas, then with a damp cloth, I wiped off some of
the ink on the raised areas to create a shadow effect. I also dabbed Stickles on those areas. I then covered the face of the
Clipboard cover with Multi Medium. For extra flare, I punched 3 holes in the lower right corner, horizontally and vertically and
wove ribbon through it. I altered the cover with Basic Grey patterned paper, vintage buttons, corrugated paper, a handmade
flower, adhering all of the previous with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi Medium. The “name plate” was created, utilizing a page
from an old book, more Basic Grey paper, stamped letters and a large Fragment, adhering it to the face of the book with Multi
Medium.
I put it all together with my AMAZING, handy dandy, Bind-It-All!
I truly hope Sarah enjoys her Art Book!
it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly
presents every so often - just to save it from drying out
completely." Pam Brown
