Mother’s Day is right around the corner and spring
has sprung, so I wanted to incorporate both ideas in
this project and the end result was this Mother’s Day
Card!
Designer Notes:
Once again when creating with acrylic....you need to
“Think Through” the project. Using double sided
paper is such a plus when creating with acrylic, more
bang for the buck!!

What inspired this project.........THE DISTREZZ IT ALL. This lovely of a tool arrived at my LSS,
Generations of Memories, and I couldn’t wait to get it home to play with it.....I’M IN LOVE!! You can get a
little distrezz or lots of distrezz...
Designer Notes:
I used a mixture of mediums for my pages, cardboard, watercolor paper, thing chipboard.....and just had a
blast!! and the time it saved because you can distrezz multiple pieces of paper at a time...YIPPEE!!!
FOR THE COVER....
I peeled back the top layer of the card board.
I painted it with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Gesso, let it dry.
I sprayed Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist on my Craft Mat and dipped my fingers into it and patted it onto
the cover.
I spritzed a doilie with the same Glimmer Mist.
Then using the same Glimmer Mist I colored the Prima flowers.
Added Burlap and ribbon to finish off my Shabby Distrezz cover.
