About:
I absolutely love luminaries....when we lived in Florida, my favorite thing
to do, on Christmas Eve, was to drive down this one street in Bradenton
that was lined with luminaries. Absolute and total BEAUTY!! We now live
in New Hampshire and there is no such street, no such luminaries, so I
decided to make my own to put around the house for New Years!!!

Designer Notes:
Using the absolutely amazing phenomenal Dreamkuts...I cut my Bazzill
sheets to 4 x 6 pieces. Using my Bindit-all, I punched holes, centered, on
3 sides. I then spritzed them with Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist - Frost.
I cut numbers from Best Creations - Glitter Cardstock, regular and
shadow, and adhered them to each panel. To create the luminary part, I
poked holes, with a darning needle, around the outside of the numbers,
then, bound all 4 sides together. For stability, I wound a wire based
garland around the top and held it on with ribbon woven through the top
holes. Lastly, I strung the ribbon ends down inside the side owires. Now,
place a tea light in the center and there you have it.....a 2010 New Years
Luminary!!!

Designer Notes:
A friend of mine had come by to borrow my Bind-It-All to make books for her grandchildren,
she had additional time, so she pulled out some extra paper to create a “Book of Lists” for her
partner. I took her idea, expounded on it to create....my own “Book of Lists”!! I just love the
Perfect Closures....added a little extra to it by stamping with Maroon Archival Ink!

Project Name: Memory Cube

Zutter Products:
Zutter Tools Used: Bind-it-all

Other Materials:
Other materials: Quickcutz - Cork Sheets, Accucut - Acrylic sheets

About:
I wanted to create a gift for my mom that she could display in her living room, but also
one that the photos could be changed out! And I did it....took a bit of “creative”
thinking....shopping at the local craft store...not know exactly “what” I was looking for...
then figuring out the logistics!!
Cut (4) pieces of Quickcutz - Cork Sheets - 3 1/4” x 3 3/4”
Cut (4) pieces of Acrylic - 2 7/8” x 3 3/4”
Cut (2) pieces of chipboard - 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”
Cut (2) pieces of Quickcutz - Cork Sheets - 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”
Cut (2) pieces of Acrylic - 3 3/4” x 3 5/8”
Adhere Cork to Chipboard
Holding Acrylic and Cork/Chipboard pieces, bottom edges level, punch
holes, centered on long edges, then punch holes on short sides. Repeat
process for all (4) pieces. Repeat above process with square pieces. Weave
ribbon, from the inside, on all (4) short edges. Adhere ribbon to inside of
cube. Place square piece on woven square, and repeat weaving process.
Adhere ribbon to inside of cube. Now where it got tricky.... Cut off a single
1” owire, to use as needle. Tape Ribbon to O-wire. Place remaining square
inside cube, begining on outside weave ribbon. Start in the same place on
each side. Tie off ribbon. For stability purposes I glued top corners with
white glue.
