Project Name: “Beer Mat Box”
Zutter Products
Zutter Tools Used: Bind-it-all
Other Materials
Cardstock: Plain Grey cardstock
Embellishments: Grunge paper
Other materials: Cardboard beer mats; ribbon; Ranger Distress inks in peeled paint and
faded jeans. Ranger jet black archival ink Distress stickles in peeled paint
Other tools: The Artistic Stamper stamps
About:
My first beer mat box was made to house 12 Christmas tree decorations as a gift … I did
n’t have a nice tin to alter and the beer mats were the perfect size. When I had made
one and realized they were so easy and so useful … well I can’t stop making them!
Designer Notes:
This is an easy project as long as you do it in the right order … cover the beer mats …
make the holes with the Bind-it-all … then decorate your pieces and finally tie them
altogether … adding a final embellishment on top if you want one!

Project Name: “I came so far for Beauty”
Zutter Products
Zutter Tools Used: Bind-it-all
Owire Size & Color: 1 ¼” Silver
Other Materials
Cardstock: Plain Grey Cardstock and old CD’s
Embellishments: Idea-ology philosophy tags and jump rings ; Maya Road Chipboard
frames; Grunge Paper
Other materials: Ranger Jet Black archival ink; Ranger distress inks in Brushed
Corduroy, faded denim and peeled paint.
Other tools: Wendy Vecchi stamps; Paper Bag Studios stamps; Heat tool and Sizzxx
Daisy 2 Die
About:
The inspiration came from the song “I came so far for beauty” by Leonard Kohen. I am
also a great fan of Wendy Vecchi and I wanted to use muted colours to emanate her
style. This particular project won a blog competition at Paper Bag Studios where you
had to take two stamps from two different plates and create a piece of work with one
theme throughout.
Designer Notes:
When cutting the CD’s it is best to score them first and then heat the score line with a
heat tool. While it is still hot you can cut along the score line easily.
