About: I was thinking about the Zutter Spring Hop and it made me think about rabbits. So I decided to make a CD book based on my favourite quotes from Alice in Wonderland. I wanted the CDs to look like a picnic tablecloth and the quotes to appear as in puddles of water. The characters were then made really graphic so they looked like they had stepped from the pages of a book.
Designer Notes: In order to cut a CD you must score it with a craft knife and then heat the score line with a heat gun. It is then possible to cut along the score line with a pair of Tonic Studio scissors. The book has to be bound before any 3d embellishments can be added.

About: My daughter inspired this one. She had been to a friend’s Asian wedding, had her hands painted in Henna and was wearing a long dress … her hair was up in a Chic bun but starting to fall out … she was so excited by the two day event and all the tradition that she popped in on her way home to tell me all. At 22 she is still my baby and she looked like a Shabby Chic princess. With that in mind after she left … I made her this little notebook!
Designer Notes: To get the torn edges on the paper I cut a mount board template out to the correct size and tore each page around it. I sealed the envelopes before cutting them to size and binding them … a perfect place for all those receipts and other bits a girl needs!
