About:
Spring is in the air. Along with spring comes Easter … a long with
Easter comes eggs! I picked up this mean pen holder in my local
supermarkets for a pound and thought … what a great gift. I
added some more metal and now when the eggs are finished it will
make an even prettier pen holder.

I got to meet Lord Tim of Holtz for the second time last week.
*swoon* This project was completely inspired by him. The plain
mount board was decorated using the techniques he demo’d in my
Mum’s favorite colors. Here in the UK it is Mother’s day in March
and the jewelry I have bought for my Mum will look great in it!

I went to a class by Rachel Greig – the owner and designer for Darkroom Door.
She demo’d this fab wax crayon resist technique and as soon as I got home I was
itching to try it on … everything. I have also discovered the fabulous hang it all’s
by Zutter. When making hanging art it is always a bit tricky to find different
ways to hang your pieces … and these little beauties are now top of my favorite
thing to use list. They are soooo simple and effective … LOVE LOVE LOVE them …
what more can I say!
