Materials Used:
- Zutter black Owire
- Lace cardstock (Ki Memories)
- Square Patterned paper and cardstock
- Thickers Alphabet (black eva covered with white acrylic paint + glitter)
- chipboard flower
- plastic CD covers
I created this because my mom wanted some of my favorite recipes.
I cut a cereal box to the desired size, covered it with bright paper, and made the text on my computer to coordinate with the paper. I stamped each page and inside cover with
(now retired) The Angel Company stamps of a southwest these since we live in southern Arizona . I used 5/8” Zutter Owires and added a few ribbons for glamour. I didn’t
want to get this too busy since it is a cookbook and can get dirty easily. I gave it to mom on Mother’s Day and she even took it with her when they went to their summer home.
I used a one-dimensional house pattern I found online, and made it into 3 individual roof lines. I utilized some
stickers I'd had for several years, and cut out my own windows and Click-Art ghost. And of course, the Zutter
wires were the perfect binding to use since they do not take away from the book's unique shape.
