About: One of the Bind-It-All design team members Sophie was having a baby and we all wanted to celebrate with her so we have all created a baby themed project for this month. One of the best ways to bond with your babies and kids is reading. I started reading to my kids when they were about 6 months old and they still love when I read to them. They both had the same favorite book when they were babies called “Goodnight Baby” by Usborne Books and they used to kiss the baby goodnight it was so sweet.
Designer Notes: As I didn’t want the book to be too large, I cut an 8x8 acrylic cover in half so I had a front and back cover measuring 8x4”. I then used the October Afternoon Fly A Kite 8x8 paper pad for the inside pages. I also added the Wild Cards from October Afternoon on the inside pages and as the cover image. I also used the packaging for the Wild Cards for the cover as it matched.

About: Summer always seems so busy so I like to make a blank mini album before the summer starts that I can use for all the great summer photos I take.
Designer Notes: I love flap books there are so many cool things you can do with the extra flap. In this book I used floss, ribbon and twine to wrap around the flap and the binding holes and I love how it turned out. To make flap pages just add a few inches (I added 4”) to the length of the inside pages then score it on either side (I scored mine at 2” on each side to create 2 flaps).
About: My favorite band right now is Muse and when they came to town I knew I wanted to see their concert. It was the best concert I have been to in a long time it was absolutely brilliant!
Designer Notes I used Muse’s tour poster as inspiration for the cover which I sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give it a cool effect and I sprayed the die cut letters with Smooch. I found the set list online and the inside pages are in order of their set list and include photos taken with my cell phone and some of the band I found on their website.
