think scrapbooking is important to preserve memories for future generations, something I wish
my mother would have thought important too. The BIA and DreamKuts are they are still fresh.

can even make multiple albums to share with others. I get my children involved in scrapping,
making books and crafts, in general as often as possible. My DD used my scrappy to complete her
science fair projects! She's competed for two years and gone to regional both times! I truly don't
think there is anything you can't do with these hobbies. I've made books, altered doors, built
clocks and altered furniture...all in the name of crafting and, of course, FUN. Please visit my blog

Bind It All 8x8 Album
Featuring Cover-All and Perfect Closure
individuals get together. Each creates an album with a theme,
instructions, set number of pages, and envelopes or pouches for
information and ephemera. Each person created a two page layout,
then sends the journal to the next person. In the end when you get
yours back, everyone in your group will have completed a two pages
layout and told you a little bit about themselves. It's fun and exposes
you to new friends and new creative styles. Well, I'm in a circle journal
and created this album for it. It features a white Cover-All, 8x8 inner
pages, rivets as well as Glimmer Mist and stamping. Gather your
materials. You will need the following items to complete this project.
punch 24 holes for one 12 inch Owire.
Punch out file folders, sand edges. Use the Scor It to score (large ones) at 6 inches. Punch out envelopes and cards, sand
edges. Use Scor It to score envelopes and note cards.
Cut various sizes of tranparencies. Round corners. Cut various sizes of journaling spots, patterned paper, magazine
pages, card stock. Round corners. Punch various sized circles from card stock, magazine pages, journaling spots and
patterned paper.
Punch all items and bind all items.
Embellish inside front and back covers with envelopes and various items from those created above, photo turns and
chipboard alphas. Embellish front cover, inner pages, transparencies, envelopes and file folders with various items
from those created above, photo turns and chipboard alphas.
Create three Owire jewelry drops from glass and metal beads and metal. Mine say: “Love”, “Happy” and “Fun”. Attach
to Owires. Embellish Owire with ribbon to complete.
I'm a mini album lover. But there are times when I don't have enough photos of a
specific event to create one. And, when I create 12x12 layouts, I prefer layouts
but don't want them all grouped on one page, but I don't want a two page layout?
The answer: layer.
I like to create depth on layouts with multiple layers. If I allow these layers to be
interactive, e.g. fold open, I gain useable space for additional photos and
journaling. This layout ends up holding 4 wallets, 3 2x2s and 2 4x6 photos, plus
journaling!
Plus, with this layout I've used a variety of mediums to color and accent
paintables, photos and fold-outs. I've used Glimmer Mist, Distress Ink and Copic
Markers.
